The Families' Information Service (FIS) provides free and impartial information, advice and guidance on the wide range of services available to children and young people and their families across Redcar and Cleveland.

The FIS can help you with the following:

• Finding local childcare inc. registered childminders
• Information about and signposting to a wide range of services through 'The Families' Guide' website - local services for those aged 0 -20 yrs and their families
• Childcare career and training opportunities
• Information about local activities and events for children and young people
• Applying for Free Nursery Education places for 3 & 4 yr olds
• Joining your local Children’s Centre activities and events
