The Families Information Service in County Durham offers a free, impartial and confidential helpline service via its freephone helpline 0800 917 2 917.

The service provides information that parents may need to support their children through to their 20th birthday, or 25th if the child is disabled.

We can provide information on:

• Support for children with additional needs or disabilities
• Family leisure and sporting activities
• Free flexible early learning for 3 and 4 year olds
• Help with childcare costs
